A cafe dedicated to the infamous Frank Zappa begs attention! I stepped into a time warp when I entered and I was instantly greeted by the very kool, and as I was about to discover, capable barista. I ordered and was slapped in the face with a decore reminisant of younger years where parties were had in old Melbourne terrace houses, above cafes and in the midst of old wise walls. A collage of pictures surrounded, reminding me of a past world I knew but had since drifted from my memory.
The coffee arrived post haste, the attention to service was extra ordinary and the red star dlivered what I have come to expect, a smooth and vibrant coffee, with a pleasant after-taste. This cafe is gold(en), and is another example of where an owner puts him/her self into a place and it becomes an extension of their passions. Do yourself a favour.. visit this place before you die! Well done Cafe Zappa.. welcome to the family!
